About

Every Journey Has A Beginning

You know a little about the journey.

Now let me tell you why it matters so deeply to me.

Hi, I'm Esther Mae Easter.

For much of my life, I believed I simply needed to try harder.

I worked harder.

I smiled more.

I became who I thought other people needed me to be.

Like so many others, I spent years wondering why life seemed easier for everyone else.

I didn't have the words for what I was experiencing.

I only knew I felt different.

My Awakening

Later in life, I discovered I was neurodivergent.

That discovery didn't change who I was.

It changed how I understood my life.

Suddenly, moments that had never made sense began fitting together.

The questions.

The exhaustion.

The masking.

The quiet places where I felt safest.

For the first time, I realized I had never been broken.

I had simply been trying to live in a world that didn't always understand the way I experienced it.

That realization became my awakening.

Why Still Mine?

People often ask what Still Mine means.

To me, it is a reminder that life may change us...

But it doesn't erase us.

Your voice is still yours.

Your hope is still yours.

Your purpose is still yours.

Your identity is still yours.

No diagnosis.

No disappointment.

No misunderstanding.

No loss.

Can take away the person God created you to be.

That part of you...

Is still yours.

That part of you...

Is Still Mine.

Why I Created This Community

I created Still Mine | The Awakening because I never wanted someone else to spend decades believing they were broken.

This is more than a podcast.

More than a book.

More than a monthly gathering.

It is a place where people can rediscover who they have always been and find others who understand the journey.

If you have ever felt unseen...

Misunderstood...

Or like you didn't quite fit...

I want you to know something.

You belong here.

A Few Things That Bring Me Joy

When I'm not recording a podcast or writing, you'll probably find me...

Sharing a conversation around the kitchen table.

Spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Reading.

Writing.

Watching the sunrise with a cup of tea.

Backpacking & Hiking

Listening to someone's story.

Because every story matters.

Thank You For Being Here

You could have spent your time anywhere.

Instead, you've shared a little of your journey with me.

Thank you.

I hope every page of this website reminds you of something I continue to discover about myself.

That we are not defined by what we've lost...

But by what we are willing to reclaim.

Today's Reflection

What part of your story feels "Still Mine" today?

Take a quiet moment.

Whatever comes to your heart...

Carry it with you.

Stay Connected

Whether your next step is listening to the podcast, reading the book, or joining the Connection Circle...

I'll be here.

There will always be a chair waiting for you.

You Are Not Broken.

You Were Designed.
