THE AWAKENING EXPERIENCE
You Are Not Broken. You Are Designed.
A 60-minute lived-experience conversation helping businesses, schools, families, and communities see neurodivergence—and human potential—differently.
What changes when we stop asking:
“What is wrong with this person?”
and begin asking:
“What have we not yet understood about how this person is designed?”
The Awakening Experience invites your organization into that conversation. Fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page after you click the " Request a Conversation " button below.
WHAT IF WE HAVE BEEN ASKING THE WRONG QUESTION?
For more than four decades, I led, trained, mentored, and developed people—long before I understood my own neurodivergence.
Discovering I was neurodivergent later in life did not change who I was.
It changed how I understood who I had always been.
I began looking differently at my challenges, masking, strengths, leadership, relationships, and the way I experienced the world.
And I began wondering:
What aren't we seeing in the people around us?
That question became The Awakening Experience.

MORE THAN AWARENESS
The Awakening Experience is not about fixing neurodivergent people or pretending neurodivergence comes without real challenges.
It is about replacing assumption with curiosity.
Participants are invited to explore:
-
THE STORY — What happens when you finally understand something you've experienced your entire life?
-
WHAT I COULDN'T SEE — Looking differently at masking, misunderstanding, challenges, strengths, and potential.
-
WHAT AREN'T WE SEEING? — What might we be missing in our employees, students, children, families, coworkers—and ourselves?
-
THE AWAKENING — One meaningful next step toward seeing and responding differently.
The goal is not to diagnose people.
The goal is to become better at seeing them.

WHO IS IT FOR?
The Awakening Experience can be adapted for:
-
Businesses & Workplace Teams • Schools & Universities • Families & Caregivers • Women's Organizations • Churches & Faith Communities • Libraries • Community Organizations • Conferences
Whether you lead employees, teach students, support families, or serve a community, the invitation is the same:
Look beyond what you immediately see.
There may be a whole person waiting to be understood.
WHY ESTHER EASTER?
Esther Easter brings together lived experience, a psychology background, more than four decades of leadership and management, and the perspective of a Black neurodivergent woman continuing her own journey of discovery.
She does not approach The Awakening from the position of having everything figured out.
She is still discovering.
Still learning.
Still awakening.
And she invites others into that conversation.

THE STORY BEHIND THE AWAKENING
The story behind the conversation.
Still Mine explores identity, discovery, and what happens when you recognize later in life that the story you have been telling yourself may not have been the whole story.
For organizations and communities that want to continue the conversation, Connection Circle creates an intentional space for reflection, connection, understanding, and belonging.
BRING THE AWAKENING EXPERIENCE TO YOUR ORGANIZATION
You do not have to begin by knowing everything.
You can begin by becoming willing to see differently.
The Awakening Experience is available for in-person and virtual presentations and can be adapted for businesses, educational institutions, families, faith communities, and community organizations. Fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page after you click the " Request a Conversation " button below.

THE AWAKENING BEGINS WITH A DIFFERENT QUESTION.
Not:
“What is wrong with you?”
But:
“What haven't we understood about how you are designed?”
You are not broken.
You are designed.
And some understanding begins with an Awakening.
